Maybe I was lucky
I went back last month and to my surprise I didn't have to deal with any harsh customs at the airport for both coming and leaving. It was my first time back in 30+ years. At arrival the custom officer only asked for my last name and no baggage check at all. At Leaving they asked where I was born and that was it. Was I the lucky few ?

CUSTOMER Service is Very bad at this airport.
Staff are not accommodating, They are also not calibrated on their rules and regulations.I hope they properly train their staff , Train them about good customer service , especially the staff ( the old guy ) who checks luggage xray - Very RUDE!!!!!. Also train them to treat people equally, they treat foreigners better than filipinos, parepareho lahat nagbabayad ng terminal fee niyo . Please be considerate & courteous and helpful to others, lalo na sa mga kapwa nila Pilipino na di alam ang gagawin sa airport or mga 1st timers . Ive been to other airports and customer service is good.

Adelaide Bi Planes
It matters not what we locals think about the antics at Aldinga Aerodrome.
Adelaide Bi Planes have no respect, no consideration and simply not interested in the well being of any of the locals.
Now they have this collection to fight the EPA. Rude and wrong as from what I believe, Adelaide Biplanes are responsible for the EPA involvement and subsequent requirement for a EPA license. Now they are asking others to pay to for their obligations?????????
I hear that they even have a sign asking for monies in the women's toilet. How rude.
Problem is that they are extremely cunning in their social media presentations and have sucked in so many who do not live in the area with the tea / cake/ coffee / scones etc.
Now the word is that their will be a wine boutique on the Aerodrome. How can that be allowed?????? A booze outlet on a aerodrome????
What else will these people do to attract attention.
Sad day when Adelaide Biplanes came to Aldinga. Very much also the self appointed industry police who have no hesitation in reporting others but can do no wrong themselves according to some in the area.
And Tony, yes I agree. They are annoying to the inth. Particularly in the summer.
Try having a nice BBQ on a Saturday evening, or even Sunday lunch, beautiful views to the sea from the hills and these people go around and around and around with the constant irritating droning and noise, totally destroying the peace and tranquility.
So who allows this mob to carry on like this?
Maybe we should get a petition going to send them to Parafield.

Adelaide Bi planes
I am a resident of Sellicks Hill and have lived here nearly 30 yrs ,l am not one to stir the pot or carry on unnecessarily , so i would like to think my comments are of a relevant nature.
Up until approximately 2008 the amount of air traffic was totally ok and somewhat enjoyable , but now the constant drone has become a real annoyance . Some days I have counted a minimum of 4 aircraft doing takeoffs and landings continuously during daylight hours not to mention other aircraft coming and going . Im not one to spoil anyones fun but its really got hard to not say anything . My research tells me that theres been restrictions to help improve things but from a residents point of view I cant see any improvement at all .
I have nothing against having a airstrip there and would hate to see it shut but I guess its just a case of " fair go mate " surely Aldinga biplanes could move to somewhere like parafield , this may be a incorrect assumption as I am not a aviator but isnt Parafield there for operations like this ?

June, 2015 Multan airport has been announced as international and and in 2 months time, we can see multiple airlines started direct international flight such as. I believe more and more will airlines will follow due to the no. of people travelling from Multan and surrounding cities.
Cargo business is another benefits for gov.

So what if a traveler has no occupation? If that traveler is living on interest - why would she show her bank acct? daig pa ng BI ang AMLAC w/c needs a court order! Who cares where she/he gets $$$? is there anything written in our constitution or law w/c says that a person ought to have an occupation before she can travel? 3 things w/c limits ur right to travel a) national security, b) public safety, c) public health. What is now the connection between having no occupation & d national security of the Philippines, no occupation & d public safety of the Philippines, no occupation & d public health of the Philippines - mind you - it's NOT a persons health or well being but the nation as a whole!

why does the BI/IO penalize Filipino travelers? The following are the only documents a Filipino Tourist (no matter what kind of tourist) need to bring: a) valid passport; b) a visa when needed; c)round trip ticket! the best way to deal with it is just to sue them civilly, administratively, & may be criminally. go to the nearest IBP chapter & ask for legal assistance or to the PAO. w/ due respect to the Human Rights Commission Kuno - go to naia look how d BI screws the CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS of Filipino Travelers!
For as long as your travel documents ( passport, visa, plane tickets) are valid Only our courts can prevent a Filipino from travelling! The IO/BI has NO POWER under the law to prevent a Filipino from travelling out of the country! However, I think we're in North Korea w/ the way our government violates our Constitutional guaranteed rights!
My recent experience Jul 2015
The airport has been completely rebuilt and has world class amenities. There is still not enough parking for cars and yes, I dont think there is any car parking facility for long term basis like a day or two. The AAI website says its still work in progress. All charges are hourly basis. However there is long term parking for bikes available. The charges are Rs 50 for 4 hours and 102 for 24 hours. However this a open parking and bike was left in the sun and rain for 3 days. I struggled for 20 min. to get it started!

Nice tea and scones , a couple of biplanes and a few taildragging aircraft doesnt make up for ridiculous increases in traffic , crowded circuits , 100hr inexperienced RA instructors and rude unsafe radio etiquette . I'm disgusted at whats become of this once fine example of a Australian GA strip .Its been 9 months since I last landed my twin there and until Adelaide Biplanes and their commercial operation leave it will be my last . It saddens me to think that this is somehow what they want , total control of the YADG CTAF . I feel for the original hangar owners who based their aircraft there , lets hope Casa the EPA and the Aldinga Aviation group do the right thing .
And yes I am anonymous. .. Ive been warned of the smear campaign tactics of ABP .

Very stressful, emotional
Exactly, every single time they want my hub go to the little privat shelter & they requested money. Just 2 weeks ago, the check in man told us to go in the private room to making sure my items went through. I ingored & I never went in; let them do what ever they want. I bet they are not going to hold 1 luggage for each of the 300 flyers, no space.. hahaha. Believe me, you guys ignore them if you don't bring in illegal stuff. I always have lost insurance protection. Ashamed of the Viet Nam Gov't, your Custom's are abusing the system by pocketing Vietkieu's $$$.

Hello po! First time ko po kasi magtravel magisa ko so gusto ko po malaman if kailangan pa po ng parent consent if mag-tra-travel ako eh 18 yrs/old palang po kasi ako. Dko po kasi ako sure kung okay lang na kahit wala ng parent consent baka kasi di ako payagan sa NAIA kung sakali. Haha.

Discrimination
I was flying from kigali on the 23rd of july and unfortunately it ruined my holiday because of the discrimination against muslim women at the airport. There were 3 of us and we were all wearing the islamic black gown. When we passed the security check for hand-luggage we all passed through the machine without it beeping and yet we were all checked physically by the female officer there. I do not understand why we were physically checked and yet the machine did not beep. Other women were not physically checked if the machine did not beep. This is discrimination against muslim women. Rwanda is an amazing place for a holiday but because of this humiliation I would not recommend anyone visiting Rwanda because of their insulting behaviour at Kigali Airport. I have travelled a lot and I have never come across such rude behaviour. If Rwanda doesn't want muslim women to visit them, they should just say so rather than making us go through this humiliation.

Watch out for the crazy guy in hanger 1. Pulled up to FBO for fuel and he comes out screaming violently at us that we blew dust around his hanger. Thought he was going to hit us or our aircraft. Seems he thinks this is his private airport and although right beside the fuel that he should scream at anyone that pulls up. Suggestion: public airport beside fuel, close your door when someone pulls up or move away from fuel.

Hangar space is available by calling 647-428-0222 at Hacienda de los Santos Resort & Spa. Space is limited to singles and light twins with a maximum capacity of twelve aircraft. Ramp overnight fees are about 200 pesos per night which includes landing and parking per night. Very secure with a large military presence, all paved runway and two ramps, Windsock directly across from the tower and one on top of the hangar. Taxi service available by asking 'Daniel' at the tower to call a taxi, or complimentary service through Hacienda de los Santos, as well as complimentary hangar parking for hotel guests.

At laging nasasakto na tapos na contract ko sa work. Kaya pag nagbbaskyon ako laging jobless ako umaalis ng bansa.. D naman naqquestion ng BI Basta sabihin mo lahat ng totoo sa mga tatanongin.. You can fly in and take a cab (or bike) to the Winery. It has a deli/counter which sells raw meats which you can then cook yourself on a BBQ (free to use) in the pavilion with picnic tables etc. Great idea!

$1.8 million Airport Upgrade and Extention 2017
The state and federal governments in 2017 will commence with the expanding of the Carnarvon WA airport incorporating a longer airstrip extended by 600m for the implementing on larger aircraft up to Airbus 320 and Boeing 737s. There will also be a $700,000 upgrade to lounge and terminal area.
