My Experience At This Airport
I Flew Here On A Flight From SFO To Yuma With A Layover In Phoenix, Yuma Is A Very Awesome Town For Vacationing, And It's Airport Is Not Bad For A 90,000 Person Desert Town.
My Experience At This Airport
I Seen It Once When Flying My Personal Plane From Visalia To North Las Vegas
My Experience At This Airport
Half Moon Bay Is My Favorite town to Vacation in, and when I discovered this airport, I took a look around, I like it's location next to pillar Point and The Half Moon Bay Jetty.
Very Nice Airport
I Live in san Jose, CA, So i decided to take a va-ca to NYC, and JFK was a very nice airport indeed.
Misplaced marker
I've moved this to the apparent SW-NE runway several km east of town. Marker *had* been in town where there is clearly no airport.
closed?
is this airstrip closed?

Tiny but Nice Las Trancas Airport.
Las Trancas Airport Is A Very Tiny Airport in many ideas, Its just a dirt airsrip off of Highway 1, However, Las Trancas Is A Nice Airport, And I want others to know that it is a tiny airport, Since it is so Small, The airport is only limited to Piston Single And Piston Agricultural Aircraft. I want to try buying a plane and landing on the rather tiny airstrip myself, but well not yet... It's right next to a Lumber yard off of Highway One thats right next to the airport, The Airport is a nice airport, but its unknown, Even to Locals Of Davenport! It dosen't even has its own wikipedia Page!
The Airport has a nice but very tiny building thats Clearly Visible When Driving On Highway 1 because it has a wind measuring cone on the top. Its Very Small.
Ideas With the airport:
Buy A Piston Single Or Piston Agricultural Plane And Land Here Yourself, if you want, land here multiple times.
When the place is not used, Help develop the runway by possibly painting it or making it wider by clearing off the grass.
Maybe Add Some Lights, So The Cabrillo Highway Travellers Can See The Beautiful Airport, Also Maybe A Generator.
Idk, reply 2 this comment and give more ideas on what to do with the airport or more facts about the Las Trancas airport.
Runway ident changed
My bad, runway ident has been updated to 27. However, I do not seem to be able to add/edit threshold coordinates. Any idea why?
Runway ident changed
Runway 26 now appears to be runway 27 (as seen in google maps images). All changes I make in ourairports.com seem to be reverted (automatically or by someone). I sent an email to contact@ourairports.com but did not get any answer. Is someone still maintaining this website?
Runway numbers are changed
Current Runwy number 02-20. Incorrect in database.
Excellent Facility
The cheapest gas for over 15 years is right here
Great facility with courtesy car
Too bad the don't wear masks
beware MSFS fake ICAO codes
Yeah, Asobo / MSFS have created a lot of their own GPS/ICAO codes for airports that are not congruent with reality, especially as heliports are not yet rendered in the sim as of the end of 2020 (so they wouldn't catch the duplicate).
First solo flight 1983
When I learned to fly in Canada 1983
I completed my first solo 10. of July 1983 on Midland (Huronia) Airport with an Cessna 150 C-GUKF and finally got the PPL Licence on July 29th 1983.
I never forget this awesome time flying in Ontario. Wonderful!

Recently paved and painted as of 20 Dec 2020. No perimeter fence, directly adjacent to FM 1470 to the south, private residences to the north.
well that's a tight fit
Lots of signage warning pedestrians and motorists going into the adjacent parking garage of the "Helicopter Landing Zone". Rotor wash here must be all sorts of fun.
Name should be changed
The ICAO name is MPCL and the local three letter name used is CLZ
Some more deets
Visible on the old topo maps available in CalTopo, and the eastern half of the runway is clearly visible running due east from the modern-day Lone Butte Casino.

Looking for Belleville Flying Club jacket
My dad still has his Belleville Flying Club jacket from the 90's but it is falling apart. Anyone have one in their collection they would be willing to part with?
Nice FBO
Nice pilot lounge and common area. Great building. Nice folks who work there and are very helpful.
After divorce with my husband
After divorce with my husband i went through a lot of difficulty. I took multiple loans which i never had money to pay back. Well, that wasnβt the best path as it affected my credit terribly afterwards. Got in contact with a specialist after the bank rejected all my proposal for more loan as I needed a new apartment and all I did to fix my credit on my own was all invain . Rich Skrenta Cleared off 3 negativities. RICHSKRENTACYBERSERVICE AT GMAIL DOT COM. fixed my credit in less than 11days.
re: bad runway
Reply to @flopp: Great catch -- thanks! Fixed.
Unusual IATA code "MDN" vs FAA LID "IMS"
The IATA still assigns the code "MDN" to this airport: https://www.iata.org/en/publications/directories/code-search/?airport.search=MDN
However, based on a problem report, it appears the airport itself does not choose to brand itself under that identifier: "MDN is not associated with our airport. Itβs just IMS. Please take the MDN information off or please send me where you are getting information so that I can get it corrected. Iβm the airport manager for the airport and I have been tracking down the source of this misinformation. Thanks"
Since IATA, and not the airport, controls the IATA codes, we will be keeping that code here for now. It would be best if the airport authority reached out directly to IATA to have the "MDN" code deleted.
re: VOR Freqency
Thank you for the comment. There is an NDB (and possibly a colocated DME) on the island, both according to our database and to the Skyvector chart, but no sign of a VOR. Perhaps it would be best to get in touch with the airport or the national aviation authority for more information.
amazing
this airport and surrounding area are stunning
Any port in a storm...
I set down here today to wait out the passage of a wicked cold front. I hadn't realized that every building on the field had been literally demolished by a recent hurricane. So, after I tied the plane down (tightly), I climbed back in the plane and rode out the storm. A little lonely but the pyrotechnics were good.
Expensive experience
Fees for a single engine piston was $365!
Improved Surfaces/Hangars
The runway is now paved! (40' wide), and they are adding a second heated hangar which should be completed in Nov 2020.
When making your radio calls, be sure to use "Steinbach South" Traffic. As "Steinbach" (the other airfield three miles north of this one) shares the same frequency.
Nice airport Great Service
TAS is the FBO
Great facility
Very accommodating with crew car and great repair facility
Great airport!
Nice newly paved taxi and ramp. Great fuel stop
Grass runway
There seems to be a parallel grass runway right beside 03/21. It's not listed in the CFS, but the diagram shows its length as 1,800 ft.
Not yet finished
Under construction.
Utley Field Located.
I've moved the GPS coordinates to the location of this private strip.
re: NDB TKL 385 Decommissioned
Removed -- thank you for the report.
Turf Conditions Were Great
Firm grass, no issues in a cherokee six. Quite the approach into the westerly direction. Amazing views
Watch out for the construction site on the approach end of 1
Lots of digging and mounds of dirt
Still Well Maintained
Turf was solid with a few embedded rocks here and there.. There is J-A1 fuel on site, probably for the helicopters. No probs in a Cherokee Six
So many jets
Came in on a Saturday evening and the massive ramp was almost completely full! Very friendly staff.
Seward is a work in progress for me.
I am close to having a working airport here, with some known problems that when I post it up anyone with more knowledge on msfs2020 design is welcome to my source and can edit and fix anything they like. Most of the problems i am having are related to terraforming. I have managed to get a relatively flat airport with a couple of bumps at the edges of the apron. However the airport altitude is wrong as I couldn't figure out how to change it in the polygon. I comes in at the default of around 10' and should be 27' . I will post a comment here when I get the first version posted somewhere. with instructions on contacting me for the files to edit.

According to MSFS2020 the code for this airport is O64, but that clashes with "Port of Catoosa Heliport" so I have left it blank.

The connection between runway 17/35 and Runway 12/30 located at the end of runway 35 has been demolished
04MA Update
As of 2020, Google Maps imagery shows there's a Cessna parked behind the house at 1020 N Broadway, and the field across the street is still cleared enough for takeoffs. The four digit FAA identifier 04MA indicates this is for private use only; it is still listed as active on AirNav and FAA sources. I think that "anonymous user" may have had an ax to grind.
Mistaken identity?
The person listed by the previous commenter is listed as the manager at Wolf River Airport (54N) in Rossville, Tennessee; I see no current listing for a manager for Wolf River Ranch Airport MS53 in Mississippi in any internet searches. This airport is no longer listed as open in AirNav in any case and trees have grown on half of the previous runway surface in recent satellite imagery.
Private Security Contractors
Well maintained, private use, very exclusive discreet and secure. Pay to play and invited guests only.
