Fond Memories of Albany Municipal Airport
I learned to fly here in 1975. The Oregon State University Flying Club was based at KS12 at the time.
No good!
The aircraft parked here are so overgrown their landing gear is now part of the landscape. It looks like this was once a field with a Cessna population that is long gone. The runway is no longer a runway and is simply a road into the gas station. Too bad, it would have been fun!

Hoppy's Restaurant Closing
Sorry to report that the absolute best place to fly in and grab a good meal in the DC area has closed. The new FBO, APP, bought out there lease and is planning to make the space into offices. We'll miis this palace.

There are a couple of flight schools at this airport, got Para diving... it was fun flying there right under class Bravo and lots of experience...
Fuel
This little airport is a short flight north of North Bay, Ontario, on the east side of Lake Temiscaming. I believe it is the westernmost public airport in Quebec, or at least, very close.
I called today to ask about a Hope Air flight next week. The person who answered was very friendly, and he confirmed that 100LL is available for $1.60/litre tax included (not an unreasonable price for northwestern Quebec). You have to give notice if you want fuel, but the person was very friendly, and said he had no objection to waiting around a few hours if my arrival time wasn't certain. We spoke in French, so I'm not sure how easy it would be to get service in English.

re: How much is Landing Fee CYQB?
If you are a light general aviation airplane, there are no landing fees. I go there every month or so and do pay a dime in landing fee. However, after one day at one of the FBOs, parking will run around $25/night, worth a phone call to double check.

ignore the TAXI number in the pilot planning facility and use
TAXIS ABEILLE service 01 39 50 50 00. This worked ok in April 2010 and cost about 18euro into Versailles

The thing about Ryanair is that they won't mind that it is a fair distance from the Algarve as long as landing fees are cheaper (they specialise in finding airports near (but not quite in) resorts so that they can offer cheap flights). Not so good for people who face an hour and a half's drive to the Algarve once they arrive in Beja but great for those of us who want to go just down the road.

Springerville Airport
They have a new self fueling station that is open 24/7. Price is usually one of the least expensive in Arizona and they have both Jet A and 100LL. It is usually a windy airport in the afternoon and when coming from the west over the mountains it can be quite bumpy. This is a high density altitude airport so make your calculations prior to take off during the summer months... not uncommon to have a density altitude of 10,000 ft or more!

Those of you who have been scammed, if you want to assist other people in who might be scammed it is imperative that you post all the information on the scam you can including: Post email address / Western Union information / telephone numbers / website / physical address. The websites can be removed for abuse and the other information will stay on the internet and can be Googled by potential victims who will be alerted to the scam. Sending money via Western Union or Money Gram is tantamount to giving to someone on the street.
Fuel Stop
My 30 minute fuel stop turned into a 1 1/2 hr stop. The Snowbirds were there and all wanted to look at my Velocity, great bunch of pilots. Did not realize that the Tudor only has a 1 1/2 hr duration, even with belly tank. Main comment was "You came all the way from Ottawa without stopping?". Brandon has some of the friendliest people in that part of the country.

@Anonymous, the FAA disagrees with you. According to them, there are two separate airports called "Moberg Air Base", one a land base MI13, and one a seaplane base 96M.

It's true, though, that staff at FBOs for many smaller Quebec airports often don't speak English, or speak very little.
PPR and stay in the middle
as prev post states, there can be some low & soggy spots so stick to to the exact middle of the strip. Also keep in mind the high tower (flashing) SW of field. Don't extend your downwind too far for 35 :-)
Weird wind
Been here a few times (always in the spring/summer months) and have found the wind to be odd. There's a some trees and a few bumps in the North ground that may contribute to this. A couple times wind has been dead on one side and 10-15 kts on the other (measured via dual windsocks installed at aerodrome). But don't let that discourage you.... great airport!
No french? no UNICOM
Been here a couple times and could never get the UNICOM to respond to my english... Other pilots in the circuit speaking french do receive a response. What can you do :-)
Visual games on 28
Great airport, watch for visual tricks when you come in on 28. The water is low and so is the grass before the strip starts....but the threshold is higher. Keep an eye out for skydiving traffic. The buildings you see on former 04/22 comprise a skydiving school.
Perfect place to stop, stay and refuel
Ibiza is great to fly to. Perfect prices for staying landing and refuelling. All of spain, but Allicante Vallencia and worse of them all LEAB, is very decent with landing fees. around 10 euro's
perfect in the middle
perfect in the middle, stop for helicopters or plains, of France. Great people friendly and you can eat at the Mc Donalds 10 minutes walk.
Good landingfee 14 i'll guess and normal fuel prices.
refuelling and staying over
Campanile hotel 10 minutes away for sleeping and very nice food. The airport is not always open so call first. Nice people good prices like 14 for landing and normal fuelprices. Custom is kind of keen on N tailnumbers.
Perfect place to stop, stay and refuel
A skydiving attitude, great and helpful people, relax refuel stay what ever you want. Landing fee like around 10 euro's and a perfect place.

So going on a helicopter through spain you need to stop there. Valencia and Alicante you would want to pass because you need an handeling-agent which normally cost like 250 - 360 euro's extra.
Nearby barcelona so perfect to stop refuel and take a coffee.

i really was chocked about the communication. Although English is THE required languages for everything to do with flying.
I have phoned twice, about the time to come for refueling, twice they said to be there from 1500 to 1700 lcl time. In the NOTAM there is a VFR window of 0800 to 14.00 the guys on the phone both said "NO between 1500 and 1700".
now i did send a mail 12hrs upfront, but the reply came 2 hours before i left at 1200lcl which i didn't check because i already checked out of the hotel and i did phone twice. Nobody told me this on the phone.!!
Then if got confronted, after refueling with scandalous prices of 4.16 a liter. like 2.16 per liter plus outside hours refueling 'bonus' of 326 euro's
