Easy transit into the city
Copenhagen no longer has Uber. Taxis are slow and insanely expensive. The Metro is cheap, fast, and will take you right into the downtown train station, or (with a single, easy transfer) to the UN offices and the cruise ship port.
No drinking water, but very nice
I visited again earlier this month, after nearly 10 years. There's a drinking water spout that's shut down, and a picnic table courtesy of the Cornwall Flying Club. It's still one of my favourite little airports to visit (so quiet). I put some photos here: https://www.instagram.com/p/B0MUsUKAbWL/

Thanks. We're probably going to be removing the navaid information soon, because it's too hard to keep up to date with VORs and NDBs being decommissioned so fast. I'll miss them.

as far as im aware, ive been told for firefighting services, probably closest airstrip would be drouin, which can be hard to spot but is an awesome strip, they have a website aswell

I'm glad to see that CNZ8 Grimsby has a new lease on life!
Since the new owners have taken over, there are many improvements and more to come!
The airport is clean and functional. The new airport manager, Gary, is delightful and accommodating.New tenants are rushing in with the knowledge that this is going to be the new area airport, after Stoney Creek CPF6 deciding to go the Storage Facility direction.

hi, share ko lang, first time i travelled to china last feb, ako lang mag-isa nun tas first time ko pa, nauna kasi bf ko (chinese national) ahead ng 1 week, nung nasa immigration na ako, chineck lang sakin is yung return ticket ko, at pictures namin together, tas kinwestyon lang ako gano na kami katagal, i think mas better if iprepare mo na lahat ng pwede itanong sayo, nakalabas ako walang problema, bound to taiwan connecting flight to mainland china, same papers ng pinasa mo when applying sa visa yung ipakita mo sa immigration pag pinagtatanong ka, like invitation letter, proof of employment, ayun

Do not buy perfum from any store.
I went to egypt and on my way back home I bought a Cartier Basha perfum for 100 or 110 US. When I came home it was filled with a similar smell but the smell disappeared in 5 mins. It was fake. Take my advise do not shop at this airport Cairo Airport.

I really enjoyed flying into Grimsby Air Park today. I called up on the telephone prior to arriving no answer, left no voice mail however a kind gentlemen called me back. Told him my intentions and he was more than accommodating. Nobody was around but the place was neat and orderly. I was able to use the washroom and I felt the runway was in good shape considering I'm sure it gets very little funding if any. As Ontario Municipalities who have airports squeeze the life out of GA, it's a treat to land at an airport like Grimsby. Bravo.

The process for clearing customs and proceeding to a domestic flight was fantastic. Our US flight was delayed 45 min making the connection really tight and staff were at the customs area waiting to assist us. It was straight forward and quick - far better than connecting through YYZ.

Disgusted to be a south african
Arriving this morning from London Heathrow I was shocked angered and saddened by the treatment people receive from south african staff at passport border custom control no wonder tourism is down i heard comments from tourists saying they will not come to south Africa again and I don't blame them the staff at Heathrow are all nationalities and treat people with respect and dignity in our country south Africa i would not speak to my dogs that way is it racism towards white people I think so

Lovely wide grass strip - perhaps a little bumpy but the scenery is gorgeous. Great little bistro/cafe, chocolate shop and a brewery on the airfield (bought 6 bottles on spec - need to go back and get some more!!)

I flew myself to CYRQ on Father's Day. It's still a nice, friendly airport. The staff don't mind you parking (for free) even if you're not buying fuel. The restaurant had a great Sunday brunch and a big crowd.
