Not only in Diosdado Macapagal Airport but also NAIA Terminals in Manila. Halos lahat yata ng officers ng immigration naghi hintay na lang ng mabi biktimang passengers mostly mga first timers. First hand experience, yung makakapal ang mukha diretsahang hihingi talaga ng pera sa yo bago ka i allow maka pasok. MArami ding akong kakilalang nabiktima nitong mga magnanakaw nato.

The St. Lazare airport is not a designated airport of entry for the Canadian Border Services Agency. Les Cedres airport to the south is an airport of entry designated for CANPASS permit holders only. Otherwise, you will need to clear at CYUL, CYMX, CYHU or CSE4 (Lachute).

I'll be going to Singapore on Feb.4-5 nxt year. I have no plans of working there, just for vacation and visit my girlfriend who is working there.I am afraid of your grievances.If those hassles will also happen on me...Let us unite to report this matter. I agree with you because in 2007 I faced same problem at the SVP Airport. The custom officer asked me to pay $500.00 because of I carried my own gold necklace and bangle to attend my sister's wedding and he was searching and taking out each and every small fake ornaments that I carried along. I told him that it's my ornaments and I am not going to pay a single money and asked him to show me the law. I didn't pay and he let me go. It is totally unfair and shame that we have to face this kind of inconvenience. I am writing now to focus this kind of matter happen at SVP Airport.

Summer visitors
If only you could rent a hangar for the summer months. It seems cost inefficient to rent a hangar for the whole year and only use it for four or five months. Maybe the airport should look into some type of temporary summer hangars?

No camping at the airport but there is a campsite about a mile from the airport. No taxi - you'll have to bum a ride (what can I say - we're embarrassingly backward!).

ILS / PAPI Angles
Some useless trivia... the ILS glideslope for runway 08 is 3.5 degrees (PAPI 3.9 degrees). The ILS glideslope for runway 26 is 4.8 degrees (as is the PAPI). The PAPI angle for runway 15 is 5.5 degrees, which is the same as the ILS at London City Airport (EGLC). The steepest ILS that I could find is at Lugano, Switzerland (LSZA); the ILS glideslope is 6.65 degrees.

SVP International Airport Employees ask for Bribes
My mom arrived at the SVP Airport on Air India Flight AI 0144 from Newark, NJ, USA and the customs officer asked her for USD 500.00, since she hasn't been to India in 20 years! The man proceeded to tell her that if she didn't pay it was going to take 2 to 3 hours to process her, and that she will have to talk to his supervisor and the supervisor was going to ask for a lot more than USD 500.00.
My mom told the man that she didn't have any money, and that she is going to wait, but he went outside the airport to find who was picking her up and told them that he will not let her go until he was paid USD 500.00.
This employee held my mom hostage, until he got his money. I could not believe what my mom was telling me.
My cousin negotiated with the man and told him all they could pay was USD 100.00, so that they would let her go and the man agreed.
My mom was scared, violated, embarrassed, and no one should be treated this way!

When trying to see actual live ORTambo arrival/departure information via the internet it is rather outdated. What can you expect from a 1st world country that became a 3rd world country. I thought they might get even better after independance, but was I wrong, they are getting worse.

Polykastro airport constructed by Kilkis Aeroclub, Prefecture of Kilkis, Municipality of Polykastro city and members of Kilkis Aeroclub.
Now operated by Kilkis Aeroclub. It is an approved by HCAA as a landing strip, according to AIP of Greece, AGA 3-6 for General Aviation Aircraft. It is located 4 KM east from the city of Polykastro and 34NM from TSL VOR on Radial 340. The Lat/Log are N40.59 E22.37
There are two hangars for general aviation airplanes and a building for ground school aviation courses, a control room and bathrooms.
