Nice tea and scones , a couple of biplanes and a few taildragging aircraft doesnt make up for ridiculous increases in traffic , crowded circuits , 100hr inexperienced RA instructors and rude unsafe radio etiquette . I'm disgusted at whats become of this once fine example of a Australian GA strip .Its been 9 months since I last landed my twin there and until Adelaide Biplanes and their commercial operation leave it will be my last . It saddens me to think that this is somehow what they want , total control of the YADG CTAF . I feel for the original hangar owners who based their aircraft there , lets hope Casa the EPA and the Aldinga Aviation group do the right thing .
And yes I am anonymous. .. Ive been warned of the smear campaign tactics of ABP .

Very stressful, emotional
Exactly, every single time they want my hub go to the little privat shelter & they requested money. Just 2 weeks ago, the check in man told us to go in the private room to making sure my items went through. I ingored & I never went in; let them do what ever they want. I bet they are not going to hold 1 luggage for each of the 300 flyers, no space.. hahaha. Believe me, you guys ignore them if you don't bring in illegal stuff. I always have lost insurance protection. Ashamed of the Viet Nam Gov't, your Custom's are abusing the system by pocketing Vietkieu's $$$.

Hello po! First time ko po kasi magtravel magisa ko so gusto ko po malaman if kailangan pa po ng parent consent if mag-tra-travel ako eh 18 yrs/old palang po kasi ako. Dko po kasi ako sure kung okay lang na kahit wala ng parent consent baka kasi di ako payagan sa NAIA kung sakali. Haha.
Tapos po sa e-ticket po ba kasama na dun yung mga fees na babayaran sa NAIA?

Discrimination
I was flying from kigali on the 23rd of july and unfortunately it ruined my holiday because of the discrimination against muslim women at the airport. There were 3 of us and we were all wearing the islamic black gown. When we passed the security check for hand-luggage we all passed through the machine without it beeping and yet we were all checked physically by the female officer there. I do not understand why we were physically checked and yet the machine did not beep. Other women were not physically checked if the machine did not beep. This is discrimination against muslim women. Rwanda is an amazing place for a holiday but because of this humiliation I would not recommend anyone visiting Rwanda because of their insulting behaviour at Kigali Airport. I have travelled a lot and I have never come across such rude behaviour. If Rwanda doesn't want muslim women to visit them, they should just say so rather than making us go through this humiliation.

Watch out for the crazy guy in hanger 1. Pulled up to FBO for fuel and he comes out screaming violently at us that we blew dust around his hanger. Thought he was going to hit us or our aircraft. Seems he thinks this is his private airport and although right beside the fuel that he should scream at anyone that pulls up. Suggestion: public airport beside fuel, close your door when someone pulls up or move away from fuel.

Hangar space is available by calling 647-428-0222 at Hacienda de los Santos Resort & Spa. Space is limited to singles and light twins with a maximum capacity of twelve aircraft. Ramp overnight fees are about 200 pesos per night which includes landing and parking per night. Very secure with a large military presence, all paved runway and two ramps, Windsock directly across from the tower and one on top of the hangar. Taxi service available by asking 'Daniel' at the tower to call a taxi, or complimentary service through Hacienda de los Santos, as well as complimentary hangar parking for hotel guests.

Hosur and around city Business people, every common man travel about 100KM to access the BIAL.. Govt. can consider the practical difficulties and open the services at Hosur as soon to avoid time delays and economic waste + Increase of air pollution.

At laging nasasakto na tapos na contract ko sa work. Kaya pag nagbbaskyon ako laging jobless ako umaalis ng bansa.. D naman naqquestion ng BI Basta sabihin mo lahat ng totoo sa mga tatanongin.. Lunch Option
You can fly in and take a cab (or bike) to the Winery. It has a deli/counter which sells raw meats which you can then cook yourself on a BBQ (free to use) in the pavilion with picnic tables etc. Great idea!

We flew in yesterday hoping for some food but found out that the Flyboys grille has been closed for a couple years. The runway is gravel but very smooth.

$1.8 million Airport Upgrade and Extention 2017
The state and federal governments in 2017 will commence with the expanding of the Carnarvon WA airport incorporating a longer airstrip extended by 600m for the implementing on larger aircraft up to Airbus 320 and Boeing 737s. There will also be a $700,000 upgrade to lounge and terminal area. The large grass areas and gardens recognised by people all over who travel through Carnarvon Airport will be looked after and extended to large lawn area under trees for passenger to wait under and relax in the awesome Carnarvon weather. Domme airstrip
A little gem of an airstrip we 'discovered' by flying down the Dordogne from Bergerac. Suddenly this pretty airstrip set about 1000' above the Dordogne rivet on top of an escarpment came into view and we just had to land there. Local frequency air to air calls in French, but it's very quiet and easy to see if anything is going on. A short walk into Domme and the most perfect omelette at the Hotel Esplenade comes highly recommended too!
Private Airfield
We wanted to land here but apparently the airfield is controlled by the Ambatovy Mine and the President of the mine, Tim Dobson Tim.Dobson@ambatovy.mg is reluctant to allow visitors to land there. A pity.. we were hoping for better Madagascar hospitality.

@sweety nope hindi po ako over stayed sa singapore kc 30 days nmn ung valid visa ko.. what I mean is last December I planned 14 days stay in singapore but I rebook my flight and stayed there for 30 days instead :) ..

great place to stop
I stopped at Valemount in my RV9 both on the way from Vancouver to Edmonton and on the reverse. Excellent clear approaches for 14 and 32. There is a small terminal building where you can get a biobreak and 100LL is available self serve. Bring your credit card for the fuel.

History
I lived and went to school in Athabasca back in the early 60s. There used to be a small grass airstrip with a few hangers and some small high wing aircraft. Piper Cub, Fleet 80 or similar. At that age l just wanted to fly. As a retired B737 Jurassic and Classic pilot l took the opportunity to see how Athabasca has changed. What can I say......remarkable and beautiful.

The airport has been completely rebuilt and has world class amenities. There is still not enough parking for cars and yes, I dont think there is any car parking facility for long term basis like a day or two. The AAI website says its still work in progress. All charges are hourly basis. However there is long term parking for bikes available. The charges are Rs 50 for 4 hours and 102 for 24 hours. However this a open parking and bike was left in the sun and rain for 3 days. I struggled for 20 min. to get it started!
